Foreword – 2018 IYF World Youth Camp in Ghana

There is a challenge with youth development across the globe. These challenges have seen the efforts of the United Nations, the Africa Union and the Government of the Republic of Ghana through Policies carefully developed aimed at a sustainable remedy. Of most importance are terrorism, internet fraud, drug addiction, crime, and the like.

Rapid and Sustainable development has been one of the fertile grounds on which these vices which are inimical to social economic development are hinged upon.

This has consequently triggered confusion of values in different societies around the world and in Ghana. It is against this backdrop that the International Youth Fellowship in partnership with its partners has fostered a common front labeled the IYF World Youth Summit; to create a viable platform to enable interaction between the youth and the mindset education specialists and resource persons to properly orient the mindset of the youth.

This year’s World Youth Summit is meticulously put together by the International Youth Fellowship, its partners and stakeholders to train and enrich the hearts, minds, and bodies of the youth from different countries all over the world. This edition will encapsulate Mind Education, Emotional Intelligence, and control; a Bible seminar amongst other life-transforming programs to condition the minds of the youth of today for the tasks ahead.

The 2018 IYF World Camp will take place at the University of Ghana, Legon. The camp is happening from June 23rd – July 28th 2018.
